Open three result websites right now and ask them one question — when is the Inter Part 2 result — and you will get three answers.
12 September. 18 September. 23 September.
All three of those dates were published this year, by Pakistani education sites that thousands of students trust. Only one of them has an actual scheduling body attached to it. And that date has a second problem nobody is talking about: it lands three days after the rescheduled MDCAT.
The short answer
The Inter (HSSC Part-II) result 2026 for Punjab boards is most widely reported as 23 September 2026 at 10:00 AM, attributed to the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen. Dates of 12 and 18 September also circulate but carry no scheduling-body attribution. Confirm on your own BISE website on result day.
The three dates, and where each came from
23 September — the one with a source. Reporting attributed to the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen states that Intermediate (12th class) results will be declared on 23 September 2026, covering all Punjab boards including BISE Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur and DG Khan. 12 September — the outlier. One high-traffic results site states the Punjab HSSC Part 2 annual result will be declared on 12 September 2026 at 10:00 AM. The same publisher’s separate Intermediate page carries a different date entirely. When one website disagrees with itself, that is your signal about how these figures get published.
Here is the honest position, and it is the one this article is going to hold: 23 September is the date with the strongest attribution, and none of it is officially confirmed until your board says so.

The part nobody has connected: MDCAT is on 20 September

MDCAT 2026 was moved from 16 August to Sunday, 20 September 2026. If the Inter Part 2 result arrives on 23 September, then every FSc Pre-Medical student in Punjab will sit the medical entry test three days before their intermediate result exists.

The matric supplementary exams are reported as beginning 6 October 2026 with results expected by 8 December, and the intermediate supplementary exams as starting 3 November 2026 with results expected 12 January 2027.
That last row is the one to hold on to if things go badly on result day. A failed subject in September is not a lost year — it is an exam in November.
If you are not in Punjab
Every board runs its own schedule. The Punjab dates above do not apply to you if you sat your exams elsewhere.
For the Federal Board, exact dates for HSSC-I and HSSC-II had not been announced as of early July, with students directed to check the official FBISE website after announcement. Sindh, KP and Balochistan boards each publish separately, and their intermediate results have historically landed on different dates from Punjab’s.

How to check on result day
Have all of this ready before 10:00 AM, not at 10:05 when the servers are already struggling.
By roll number, online. Open your BISE board’s official website, go to the results section, select HSSC Part 2 / Intermediate Part 2 Result 2026, enter your roll number exactly, and submit.
By SMS. Send your roll number in a text message to your board’s official SMS code. This is the method that works when the website does not.
